I tried to restore my jailbroken iPhone 5s on iOS 8.4, but it is now stuck on the Apple logo with a progress bar. I cannot enter DFU mode to restore via iTunes because my home button is broken. How can I fix this?

If your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo and you have a broken home button, you have a few options to attempt a restore. 1. Try entering No Substrate Mode by holding the Volume Up button while the device boots. If the device is jailbroken, this can sometimes bypass the boot loop. 2. Use third-party software on your computer such as ReiBoot or RecBoot to force the iPhone into Recovery Mode without using physical buttons. Once in Recovery Mode, iTunes or Finder should detect the device and allow you to perform a full restore. 3. If these software methods fail, you may need to have the home button hardware repaired or replaced to manually trigger DFU mode for a deep restore.

Your iPhone is likely stuck in a boot loop. Try to boot into No Substrate Mode by holding the Volume Up button as soon as the Apple logo appears. Keep holding it until the lock screen appears, which may take several minutes. If this does not work and you cannot enter DFU mode due to a broken home button, you might need to use a computer utility like ReiBoot to force recovery mode, or consider getting the home button fixed.
