How to type the degree symbol on Mac?

I am trying to write a temperature like 75 degrees in a document, but I cannot find the degree symbol on my Mac keyboard. What is the shortcut to type it?

You can easily type the Degree (°) symbol on Mac by pressing the Shift + Option + 8 shortcut on your keyboard.

Alternatively, press Control + Command + Space to open Character Viewer and search for "degree".
