Weather App Crashes and Safe Mode Loop on Jailbroken iPhone 4 (iOS 6)

I am using an iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1 with the jailbreak. The weather application fails to open, and whenever I try to delete an app, the phone restarts automatically and enters safe mode.

This issue was a known bug in the initial release of the evasi0n jailbreak for iOS 6. To fix the Weather app crashing and the safe mode issues, launch Cydia on your device and check for updates. The evasi0n 6.0-6.1.2 Untether package was updated specifically to resolve these problems. If the update does not appear, you can search for and reinstall the untether package, or restore your device and use the latest version of the evasi0n tool to re-jailbreak.

First, try restoring your iPhone using iTunes. If you need to preserve your baseband, use redsn0w to create a custom IPSW. Once the restore is complete, use the latest version of evasi0n on your Windows or Mac computer. After jailbreaking, launch Cydia and install any available updates for evasi0n to ensure the weather app fix is applied.
