How do I unlock an iPhone 4S?

I have jailbroken my iPhone 4S using Evasi0n. Please help me find a way to unlock my iPhone 4S for use on other networks.

The iPhone 4S does not have a software-based unlock like older devices. To unlock an iPhone 4S, you must request an official IMEI unlock from the carrier the device is currently locked to. Most carriers will perform this for free if the device is no longer under contract. Once the carrier approves the unlock, you can finalize it by inserting a new SIM card or connecting the phone to a computer with iTunes. While some third-party hardware SIM interposers existed in the past, an official carrier unlock is the only permanent and reliable solution.
