I wanted to update the software on my iPhone, but the progress bar froze at around 10% to 15%. I unplugged the cable and replugged it, and now I am being forced to restore my iPhone. I left it for 8 hours and it is still stuck at 10% to 15% and I cannot do anything. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If your iPhone is stuck during a restoration or update, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue. First, ensure you are using a high quality or original Apple Lightning or USB-C cable and try a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes a faulty connection causes the process to hang. You should also restart your computer and ensure your internet connection is stable.
If the restoration still fails, try putting your iPhone into Recovery Mode or DFU mode. To enter Recovery Mode, the steps vary by model but generally involve a combination of the volume and power buttons while connected to a computer. Once in Recovery Mode, your computer should detect the device and offer to Restore or Update it again. If you continue to experience errors at the same percentage, it could indicate a hardware issue with the device storage or logic board, in which case you should contact Apple Support or visit an authorized service provider.
