I am trying to downgrade my iPhone 3GS firmware from iOS 6.1.3 to 6.0.1 or another compatible version. My device is not jailbroken and has never been jailbroken in the past. Is there a way to perform this downgrade?

To downgrade an iPhone 3GS from iOS 6.1.3, you generally need saved SHSH blobs for the firmware version you want to install. Because your device has never been jailbroken, it is unlikely those blobs were saved for iOS 6.0.1. However, Apple still signs iOS 4.1 for the iPhone 3GS, meaning you can downgrade to that specific version at any time without needing saved blobs. To do this, download the iOS 4.1 IPSW file for your device and use iTunes or a tool like redsn0w to restore the firmware. For versions other than 4.1, a downgrade is usually not possible without the unique SHSH blobs for your specific device.
