I have an iPhone 4 currently running iOS 5.1.1 and have saved SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.2 using TinyUmbrella. Can I use these blobs with Sn0wbreeze to upgrade to version 6.1.2, and what are the steps involved?

Yes, you can use your saved SHSH blobs to upgrade or restore your iPhone 4 to iOS 6.1.2 because the iPhone 4 features a hardware-based exploit that allows for custom firmware. You will need to use Sn0wbreeze to create a custom firmware file stitched with your blobs. 1. Download the iOS 6.1.2 IPSW for iPhone 4 and the latest version of Sn0wbreeze. 2. Open Sn0wbreeze, select Browse for an IPSW, and choose the file you downloaded. 3. Select iFaith Mode and point the software to your saved SHSH blobs from TinyUmbrella. 4. Sn0wbreeze will create a signed custom IPSW on your desktop. 5. Put your iPhone 4 into Pwned DFU mode using the tool provided in Sn0wbreeze. 6. Open iTunes, hold the Shift key on Windows or Option key on Mac, click Restore, and select the custom IPSW created by Sn0wbreeze.
