Estas son las Instrucciones de como Desbloquear el IPhone 3GS para usar con cualquier carrier de telefono GSM usando PurpleSn0w. Geohot a publicado Declarando que el purplesn0w unlock debe mejorar los problemas con wifi, bateria, y el desbloqueo. Antes de poder seguir estas instrucciones tu tienes que tener un iPhone con el Jailbreak echo y con la version del modem a 04.26.08 (modem firmware). Esto quiere decir que el firmware del telefono tiene q estar en 3.0 y tu puedes hacer eso usando PwnageTool, RedSn0w, o PurpleRa1n para hacer un jailbreak.
Para buscar su firmware y modem firmware(baseband) tu puedes seguir este tutorial. Si tu no tienes el baseband version 04.26.08 entonces tu necesitas seguir uno de estos tutoriales antes de desbloquear: Mac, Windows
Si tu estas en T-Mobile o cualquier compañia sin 3G recuerde apagarlo antes de empezar..
Paso Uno Ejecute el programa Cydia desde su menu.
Paso Dos Seleccione la opcion Manage(Tiene un dibujo como un libro abierto).
Paso Tres Presiona la opcion Sources.
Paso Cuatro Presiona el boton Edit que esta debajo del icono de la bateria.
Paso Cinco Presiona el boton agregar Add que esta en la izquierda de arriba.
Paso Seis Digita http://apt.geohot.com/ y dale al boton Add Source.
Paso Siete Espera que haga algunas cosas y luego dale al boton Return to Cydia[/].
Paso Ocho Presiona el boton Done que esta debajo del icono de la bateria.
Paso Nueve Selecciona apt.geohot.com de la lista.
Paso Diez Selecciona com.geohot.purplesn0w de la lista.
Paso Once Selecciona el boton Install que esta ubicado debajo del icono de la bateria.
Paso Doce Selecciona el boton Confirm que esta ubicado debajo del icono de la bateria.
Paso Trece Despues que complete la instalacion presiona el boton Return to Cydia.
Paso Catorce Ahora presiona el boton Home luego apaga el telefono y luego enciende el telefono.
Luego Ingresale tu Sim Card y espera 5 segundos para que veas la red.

Hello Dev team, Its been so quiet lately, I have been checking on this website many time each day, hopefully that the Pwanege tool would com out, so that I can full fill my duty, j/b and unlock my 3GS that have original firmware 3.1.2. But it seems thatt my hope is fading away.
I might just put that damn phone on Greglist, get a Nokia, and No more apple product.
I follow your instructions on unlocking the 3Gs, but in the left corner were the carrier letters ex:(ATT) go it only has very little lines which you can barely see. I put a working ATT sim card that I use it and the phone worked fine and but now is not working after unlocking it. Can you someone help? Thanks!!!
Hi could anyone tellme what would happen if i havent activated my phone with att yet but have the att sim inside when im trying to unlock it, i already jailbroke it.

At step 13, it tells me that "no data....could activate", basically that the iphone lost the ATT signal. Is this normal? Did my unlock still work?

I went all the way through (donwngraded to 3.0) jailbroke it and installed with cydia. When I put another sim it still does not recognize it. I mean, I have the full menu but i tunes says I have thr wrong sim and I can´t get a signal... any way to fix this? Thanks.
