Hermès Launches $5,150 MagSafe Charger That Costs More Than an iPhone

Hermès has introduced a new collection of luxury MagSafe chargers for Apple devices, led by a $5,150 bundle that costs more than a fully loaded iPhone 17 Pro. The release expands the brand's long-running Apple partnership with a lineup of leather-wrapped charging accessories positioned at the very high end of the market.



The flagship is the Paddock Duo charger and Grand Paddock case, priced at $5,150. Crafted in France from Gold Swift calfskin, the set combines a dual MagSafe charging pad with a matching travel case. The Duo charger features two MagSafe zones, enabling fast, simultaneous wireless charging of an iPhone and AirPods or an Apple Watch. Hermès says the charging system is integrated beneath the leather exterior and finished with traditional saddle stitching. The included Grand Paddock case adds an inner storage pocket for carrying the charger and accessories.


The broader lineup offers similar designs at lower — though still premium — price points. The Paddock Duo charger is available on its own for $1,750, while the $1,250 Paddock Solo supports single-device charging. Hermès also offers the $1,750 Paddock Yoyo, a double-sided wireless charger that can accommodate an Apple Watch or Qi-compatible smartphones depending on orientation. Across the range, each charger features an "H" logo positioned over the magnetic alignment point and is wrapped in the same calfskin leather used throughout the collection.



All models require a minimum 20W power source supplied via USB-C or a wall adapter. Despite the pricing, Hermès does not include a power adapter in the box, mirroring Apple's current approach to accessory packaging. A 3.3-foot USB-C cable is included.

Hermès has collaborated with Apple for nearly a decade, most notably on co-branded Apple Watch models and bands. The new charging accessories extend that relationship beyond wearables, offering a luxury take on everyday charging hardware for iPhone and related devices.
