A new Apple Job Listing for a software engineer to work on 'Next Generation' application for manipulating media was recently published on the Apple Website. Apple is looking for a team to 'create the next generation application of manipulating media' with the purpose of 'allowing the user to manipulate content in new and exciting ways'.
The applications division is looking for an engineer keen on working with a team of highly motivated engineers and designers tasked with creating the next generation application for manipulating media. The candidate must be focused and motivated to solving problems that involve creating new user interfaces and allowing the user to manipulate content in new and exciting ways. The engineer will have a unique sense of customer needs by helping to improve the performance of the user interface and keeping it interactive. We are looking for an engineer who is focused on helping to implement new and creative user interfaces. The engineer should work closely with the team to help understand and suggest improvements to design as required and then quickly turnaround the design to implementation. The engineer will help with debugging efforts as they pertain to his direct area and areas that cross integrate within the application. A keen attention to performance and detail will be highly desired.
This vague job listing does raise some interesting possibilities. With the leaked images of the multi-touch pad, and user interface being a core principle of Apple, we can imagine the possibilities of the track pad, and this new job listing becoming more relevant.
