Apple's recently released 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip has dropped to an all-time low price. The high-performance notebook is currently available for $2,449.99 on Amazon, marking it down by $249.01 from its usual $2,699 retail price.
Apple introduced the M5 Pro MacBook Pro in March, bringing its latest Apple silicon architecture to the professional laptop lineup. The discounted configuration features an 18-core CPU and a 20-core GPU, paired with 24GB of unified memory and a 1TB solid-state drive. The chip is designed to accelerate demanding creative workflows, multitasking, and on-device Apple Intelligence features.
The notebook features a 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display capable of sustaining 1,000 nits of brightness and peaking at 1,600 nits for HDR content. Connectivity was also upgraded this generation with three Thunderbolt 5 ports, alongside HDMI, an SDXC card reader, and MagSafe 3 charging. Wireless connectivity is handled by Apple's custom N1 chip with support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
Above the display, a 12MP Center Stage camera automatically keeps users framed during video calls and supports Desk View. Audio is powered by a six-speaker sound system with Spatial Audio and three studio-quality microphones. Despite the added performance, Apple says the notebook still delivers all-day battery life and maintains the same level of performance whether plugged in or running on battery.
