The 13-inch M5 MacBook Air has dropped to $899.99 on Amazon today. The deal takes $200 off the notebook's regular price and marks a new all-time low since the laptop launched in March.
The discount applies to the base configuration, which now includes 16GB of unified memory and a 512GB SSD after Apple increased the starting specs earlier this year. All four finishes are included in the sale, with Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Sky Blue available at the discounted price.
Inside, the M5 chip features a 10-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, along with an upgraded Neural Engine for Apple Intelligence features and on-device AI tasks. The laptop retains the same fanless aluminum design as its predecessor, but early reviews found the new chip delivers noticeable gains for multitasking and demanding workflows.
The hardware is built around a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness. Apple also added support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 with this generation. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports alongside a dedicated MagSafe charging port, and the notebook supports up to two external displays with the lid closed.
