Apple has released the official trailer for "Lucky," a new limited series starring and executive produced by Anya Taylor-Joy. The heist thriller will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Based on the bestselling novel by Marissa Stapley, the series follows con artist Lucky, played by Taylor-Joy, as she is forced to go on the run after a multimillion-dollar heist goes wrong. Pursued by the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, she must fight for survival and find a way out. The ensemble cast also features Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr., and William Fichtner.
Produced by Apple Studios and Hello Sunshine, the series was created and co-showrun by Jonathan Tropper. Tropper is also the creative force behind the Jon Hamm crime drama Your Friends & Neighbors. He executive produces alongside Cassie Pappas, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Anya Taylor-Joy, and pilot director Jonathan van Tulleken.
Following the initial two-episode launch, new installments will be released every Wednesday through August 19.
