Apple has revealed a first look and premiere date for the sixth season of its Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning espionage drama "Slow Horses." The series, starring Gary Oldman, will premiere its sixth season on Apple TV on September 16, 2026.
The six-episode season will debut with its first episode on Wednesday, September 16, followed by weekly releases through October 21. Adapted from "Joe Country" and "Slough House," the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron's "Slough House" series, season six finds the agents on the run as Diana Taverner pulls them into a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.
"Slow Horses" is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents relegated to an MI5 dumping ground known as Slough House. Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but abrasive leader of the group.
Returning cast members include Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce, and Hugo Weaving. BAFTA TV Award winner Lenny Rush joins the cast for the new season.
The series is produced by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe, with Adam Randall returning to direct. All five previous seasons of "Slow Horses" are currently available to stream on Apple TV.
