Apple TV has announced that the acclaimed German-language dark comedy "Where's Wanda?" will return for its second season on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Apple also shared first-look images from the eight-episode season, which will debut globally with one episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through December 9.
Picking up after the events of season one, the Klatt family thinks their lives have finally returned to normal. That hope is shattered when their daughter, Wanda (Lea Drinda), is found standing over a dead body, seemingly caught red-handed. Desperate to prove her innocence, the Klatts launch their own investigation into the criminal underbelly of their sleepy suburban town, racing to find the real killer before it's too late.
Returning cast members include Heike Makatsch, Axel Stein, Lea Drinda, Leo Simon, and Nikeata Thompson. "Where's Wanda?" was created, written, and executive produced by Oliver Lansley, based on a story co-created by Zoltan Spirandelli. Executive producers also include Nataly Kudiabor and Oliver Ossege, with Tobi Baumann and Christian Ditter directing season two.
Season one holds a 100% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and drew praise for its blend of dark comedy and suspense. Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers.
