Google has introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new AI model for coding and agent workflows that arrives just three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash. Google says the update delivers stronger performance across software engineering, web development, and knowledge work while cutting introductory pricing in half compared with the original 3.6 Flash cost per million tokens.
Google says 3.7 Flash delivers stronger performance across software engineering, knowledge work, and web development. On coding benchmarks measuring tasks such as debugging and issue resolution, FrontierCode 1.1 Main rises from 34.4% to 43.6%, while DeepSWE v1.1 improves from 49.0% to 65.3%. Google also says the model achieves higher first-pass code accuracy and generates more production-ready code.
For web development, Google says 3.7 Flash produces more functional layouts and feature-complete applications in fewer prompts, raising its WebDev Arena Elo score from 1538 to 1588. The company also reports stronger reasoning and accuracy for document-heavy tasks, with its GDP.pdf benchmark score increasing from 22.0% to 34.0% and AutomationBench climbing from 17.0% to 30.4%.
Gemini 3.7 Flash is available through the end of the year at an introductory price of $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. Google says the model adapts better to roadblocks, clarifies intent when needed, follows instructions more faithfully, and requires less manual oversight with fewer retries across engineering workflows.
Google is also moving Gemini Spark to the new model starting today. Available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries, Spark gains improved tool use for Google Workspace apps and better performance on complex, multi-skill workflows. The company says the update helps Spark turn ideas into action more efficiently by consolidating files, drafting emails, and updating status documents.
Developers can access Gemini 3.7 Flash through Google Antigravity, the Gemini API in Google AI Studio, and Android Studio, while enterprise customers can use it in the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and Gemini Enterprise app. The model also includes updated Frontier Safety safeguards against misuse involving Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) and cyber offense.
