Apple Releases Slow Horses Season 6 Trailer Ahead of September 16 Premiere [Video]

Apple has released the trailer for the sixth season of Slow Horses, the Gary Oldman-led espionage drama. The new six-episode season premieres globally on Apple TV on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with one episode arriving each week through October 21.



The series is adapted from Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron's Slough House book series. Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb, the abrasive leader of the MI5 agents assigned to Slough House after career-ending mistakes. Season six finds the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner draws them into a high-stakes retaliation and revenge plot. Olivia Cooke returns as Sidonie "Sid" Baker.


The ensemble also includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce, Hugo Weaving, and new cast member Lenny Rush.

Adam Randall returns to direct the season, which is adapted for television by co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe. The first five seasons of Slow Horses are already available on Apple TV.
