Apple TV has set the second season of Bad Monkey for a Wednesday, December 2, 2026 premiere. The 10-episode season will begin with one episode, followed by weekly installments through February 3, 2027.
Vince Vaughn returns as Andrew Yancy, who is pulled into a new case after witnessing the murder of Florida's finest fixer. An ambitious state attorney pairs Yancy with a forensic accountant, sending him into a turf war between rival criminal organizations while he tries to earn back his detective's badge.
The new season follows an original story. It also brings Yancy back into contact with Natalie Martinez's Dr. Rosa Campensino, who is investigating a mysterious rash, as he deals with his father and an animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the local environment.
Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence, and John Ortiz return alongside Vaughn. New additions to the cast include John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski, and Zavior Phillips; Nate Jackson, Sofia Boutella, Brent Morin, Joey Avery, Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, Margarita Levieva, Peter Billingsley, and June Diane Raphael will guest star.
Bad Monkey is developed by Bill Lawrence, who returns as executive producer and showrunner. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, with Vaughn, Liza Katzer, Adam Sztykiel, Chris Downey, Carl Hiaasen, Jeff Ingold, and Matt Tarses also serving as executive producers.
The first season of Bad Monkey is available to stream now on Apple TV.
