Square Sellers Can Now Sync Business Listings to Apple Maps From Dashboard
Square sellers can now manage their Apple Maps presence from the dashboard, automatically syncing hours, addresses and phone numbers across Maps, Siri AI, Wallet and other Apple apps, according to Square.

Once connected to Apple Business, sellers can manage their brand and add a logo to Apple Maps place cards. They can also add links for Menu, Order, Pickup, Delivery, Book or Schedule Appointment, giving customers a way to take action from the listing.
According to Apple figures cited by Square, claimed locations receive 30% more views on Apple Maps, while action links increase clickthrough rates by 31% across website, call and action buttons.
The integration is available to eligible sellers with physical locations in Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. In the U.S. and Canada, eligible business-verified sellers without an existing Apple Business account can enroll from Square Dashboard. Siri AI and features that rely on it will not initially be available in the European Union on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS.
Food and beverage sellers can link customers to Square ordering, pickup, delivery and menu experiences, while health, wellness and beauty businesses can connect their booking and appointment services. Retailers can keep business information and branding up to date across locations.

Square plans to bring more Apple Business capabilities to its dashboard, including place card engagement metrics and peer group benchmarks. The integration follows recent Square integrations with ChatGPT and Claude aimed at helping businesses appear in AI-powered conversations.
Separately, businesses can purchase Maps ads through Apple Business or Apple Ads, with sponsored listings now rolling out in the U.S. and Canada. Apple's Maps advertising rules prohibit home-services, bail-bond and cryptocurrency ATM promotions, with medical services reviewed case by case.
