Apple TV Renews French Drama 'Carême' for Season 2
Apple TV has renewed the French-language drama 'Carême' for a second season. Benjamin Voisin returns in the title role, with filming scheduled to begin in Paris next week.

Voisin plays Antonin Carême, a chef who rises from poverty to prominence in Napoleon's Europe while powerful political figures draw him into espionage. The series is based on Ian Kelly's book 'Carême: The First Celebrity Chef.' Its first season is available on Apple TV.
Jérémie Renier and Alice Da Luz also star, and Martin Bourboulon directs. Kelly created the series with Davide Serino; Vanessa van Zuylen and Dominique Farrugia are executive producers. Apple announced the renewal after 'Carême' received an International Emmy Award nomination for Drama Series.
Apple has not announced a premiere date for the second season.
