Lenovo Mocks MacBook Air With X300 Ad

Posted May 2, 2008 at 9:27pm by iClarified
Lenovo is making fun of the MacBook Air with a new commercial for its ThinkPad X300 laptop. The ad, posted on YouTube, shows the MacBook Air sliding out of its infamous document envelope. Hands fumble with connecting external devices before cramming everything back into the envelope, tearing it.

The ad resumes with a fresh envelope containing the ThinkPad X300. Placing it on the envelope and opening the lid reveals the slogan "ThinkPad X300. The no-compromise ultraportable". Another message follows saying, "We don't add stuff on. We build it in."

The ThinkPad didn't even fit in the envelop!! I agree with the other poster, they product market totally different. Why do you need all these USB ports if you really want ultra-portable laptop?! On other note, the X300 with the extra battery is closer to the MacBook than Air.
