Mashable has compiled a list of musicians who had their musical careers launched by an Apple Ad.

These artists were picked from (relative) obscurity for an Apple ad and saw their popularity skyrocket.

2. “1234″ by Feist – iPod Nano, 2007
3. “Music is My Hot, Hot Sex” by CSS – iPod Touch, 2007
4. “New Soul” by Yael Naim – MacBook Air, 2008
5. “Shut Up and Let Me Go” by The Ting Tings – iPod, 2008

I hate to burst the bubble but "Feist" had a music career a LONG time before the i-ads hit the TV. I am sure her popularity increased significantly with the exposure, but to say Apple "launched" her career is a bit of a lie.... just sayin'
