Apple to Replace Overheating First-Generation iPod Nano in Japan

Apple has agreed to replace the original iPod nano sold during September 2005 to December 2006 as rare cases can see the battery overheat.

Reported having problems like this are few, and found that there is a particular case due to both battery manufacturers. Other iPod nano models has not received any reports. Should signs of overheating batteries (such as discoloration or deformation) and discontinue use immediately sees that, Apple support please contact us immediately to.

This comes after Japan’s Consumer Affairs Agency and trade ministry requested an explanation of additional safety measures taken to prevent the devices from catching fire.
