Acers Says Apple's iPad Market Share Will Drop to 20%

Acer Chairman JT Wang predicted that Apple's near 100% share of the tablet market will drop to between 20% to 30% or maybe even lower, during an interview with UDN.

Wang noted that Apple's Mac market share is only 5% and thus even 20% of the tablet market may be an overestimation.


Manufacturers are still playing catchup to the iPad; however, a huge influx of devices are expected by the end of the year.
