It doesn't have the option to open movies from mail attatchments, that's the feature I am looking for...

Yeah, but VLC is only made for the iPad and not the iPhone! Also, the cheap $1.99 I paid for it was well worth it!
If you watch a lot of files in .avi format this is the app for you!!
