When is Apple gonna let their users decide wether or not to use this as a normal app from App Store? This is why I sometimes consider Android, but not until it´s more perfectioned ;-) And what about a featurepacked Messages app with "international" emoticons and quickreply? This shouldn´t have to be jailbreak features – it´s normal features!!!

Cydia did not report as an update. I went ahead and "reinstalled" MyWi 4.8.1 from Cydia. Even after a reboot, still no USB tethering on my MacBook!! Anybody else still having these problems?

Yes it works on my PC but the Mac refuses to recognize a new network interface for some reason. Thus making the USB tethering an issue. The problem is not the MyWi software; you and I have a problem with our Macs and need to find out how to reset the network settings in our Mac so it will recognize new interfaces. Also I can tell you that Parallels will not allow tethering to function; have to disable any network ports created by Parallels.
