If you are constantly worried about dropping your iPhone 4, replacing the glass back cover with metal one may provide some added security.
An OEM cellphone parts company from Hong Kong is selling a nice metal back cover that fits the iPhone 4 for $12.99. Unplggd tried the mod declaring it "simple" and "cheap".
I'd prefer a more exact match to the steel antenna bands; however, this still looks quite nice.
Sold out, says:
Products marked with *** dont exist in desired quantity in our stock.
You can buy them anyway and check the quantity we have in stock for immediate deliver in the checkout process.
Lol i have had these covers for more than two weeks now and it actually exists in a lot of colors including gold, black, white, blue, green, red, pink, purple, violet etc...
But the news is false IT IS NOT A METAL BACK. it is only plastic with a brushed alluminium finish. anyway it's still very good looking, i like it a lot
Hi, can you tell me what is the affect on the weight of your phone. Does it increase or decrease the weight. I've ordered one but was thinking what will it do with the weight.
Do we just swap out the back cover? Or do we slide it on top glass cover? Why is it white cover ready swap $180 and this only $13? Oh also, how long is shipping to us/ to u? Thx
This is so cheap because it is only the back panel, not the front panel which has the digitizer linked with it and the LCD screen might also be glued onto it.
The back panel comes off very easily: Simply unscrew the 2 screws on each side of the dock connector, then put the silent switch to vibrate only so the red is showing. Once you do that the iPhone back will slide off and then you can just swap it with the replacement and then put the screws back in and you're done.
But if someone breaks their glass and have this on, it voids the warranty. Yea if u still have the original glass then swap it back out. People will think this is a cheaper way to go instead of the $30 apple charges for a replacement glass.
