For everyone asking what the point is... Stealing your key would be a lot harder than seeing you input the code wouldn't it?
That said, as he can't make this be on the normal lockscreen without jailbreak it means his lock is eaither an app or a jailbreak tweak, and it looked like the former which means a restart of the device would bypass the lock...
