NBC has debuted its new TV show entitled "The Cape" on the iPad, according to a Mashable report.
NBCs new show The Cape is getting its premiere today, but you can only watch it if you have an iPad. The sneak peek was made possible via a relationship with DC Comics, which will offer viewers the chance to view the one-hour pilot episode from January 5 to 8 via DCs free iPad app. The shows television premiere is set for January 9. Though NBC is partnering with DC, the show isnt based on a DC Comics character, but is instead inspired by it.
The show features David Lyons as Vince Faraday, an honest cop on a corrupt police force that is framed for a series of murders and presumed dead. Forced into hiding and desperate to reunite with his wife and son, he recreates himself as a caped hero, determined to bring justice back to the city he loves.
