A Verizon customer has been shipped a new iPhone 4 that has been left in test mode, according to an Engadget report.

This is apparently a production Verizon iPhone that was shipped out to an actual customer this week, which... well, let's just put it this way: it's not going to help you play Angry Birds any faster. They've tried to restore the phone using iTunes to no avail, so here's the million-dollar question: collectible or worthless return?

Question is, how do you get the iPhone into that test mode? Then obviously, how do you get it out.
