Another image has appeared online of an iPod touch with a capacitive home button. Although better quality than the last images posted this still could be easily faked using Photoshop.

It's hard to, but you can kind of see the outline of the home button. It probably has a full screen protector on it. So it's totally fake!!!

I would rather apple keep the home button it is one of the things that makes a iPod or iPhone a iPod/iPhone.
I don't like the homebutton this way like samsung galaxy s

Not only is the home button photoshopped but the glass doesnt fit the bezzel. look at the left side and bottom right. and the depth of field blur is not accurate or even.

Whether the image is real or not, I think it is more than likely that it will appear in the next generation.
You all know Apple is making less & less buttons / holes / ports on it's products. They won't be happy until the iPhone / iPod Touch is a single block of glass - and nor will I!

It's fake. You can still subtly see the home button in the pic and even though it appears flat, you can make out a slight concave in the area. It's a better photoshop than the previous ones, but still a photoshop job none the less.
