Layar Reality Browser App Adds Social Sharing

Layar has been updated with Facebook and Twitter sharing and the ability to easily access your favorite layers.

Layar is a mobile app for discovering information about the world around you. Using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, Layar displays digital information called "layers" into your smartphone's field of vision.


What's New In This Version:
Layar 5.0 now features the ability to share content with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Layers are no longer limited to static content. Now icons and 3D models can come alive with animation, adding a new layer of engagement to augmented reality.

We have made it easier than ever to keep track of your favorite layers, and now we keep track of your most recently viewed layers in the "Recent" tab.

In short:
- Improved and easier to use user interface
- Ability to share layers on Facebook and Twitter
- Ability to take screenshots in AR view and share to Facebook and Twitter
- Layers may now include animated 3D objects
