The Mac OS X Lion Update seeded to developers today brings more evidence that Apple will be bringing its Find My iPhone service to the Mac.
9to5Mac was able to locate an icon for the application and references to a Find My Mac Messenger.
Additionally, there is something called Find my Mac messenger. Were not too sure what this is, but we speculate that it might be a way for the Macs finder to instant message with the Macs owner. Apple is set to unveil a revamped MobileMe, so its possible that Apple will throw some instant messenger client for Find my Mac into the new web interface.
My assumption is that they will go by a computer's IP address. To bad that's not really an accurate thing to go by. It should technically tell you the building they are in... but what if they are tethering from a phone or don't ever hook it up to the internet? Interesting....
