You will get to keep it forever as long as you have a 3G Only phone., at least that is what AT&T is, i am guessing virizon is similar. But if and when you get in to 4G it is a different plan so you loose it, and be in what ever plan they have at the time.

So 10 GB of data costs you guys more than a contract with completely free calls, texts and data (at full speed) does for me in Sweden..? I do not envy you guys.. You really have to pay up if you want a smartphone..

They are going crazy with there prices, I think it should be priced like this
2GB $20
5GB $30
10GB $50
Maybe throw in Unlimited $100 or something

They say unlimited but its never unlimited. After the datacap they brings down to edge service. So to me it doesnt matter.

That will be stupid in Verizon part..should wait until Iphone5 comes out lock all customers then change the data plan...

but then they'd have all those people on unlimited plans (grandfathered in)
makes more sense for them to do it before so that all new customers will have to use these overpriced plans.
And guess what, people will pay it. Sad.

I was planning to change to Verizon when the next gen iPhone is released. Not now.
