The less fortunate in China are continuing to take extreme measures in their attempt to obtain expensive Apple products, according to a Korean Herald report.

Biznewschina reported that a female jiulinghou, referring to those born during the 90’s, tweeted on Weibo (Chinese version of Twitter) that it is her "dream to own a iPhone4 but her father won’t let her get one." She then decided to sleep with someone in exchange for the mobile device.

The Guangdong teen has posted a picture of herself along with other basic personal information saying she is willing to "sell" her virginity to anyone that buys her a iPhone 4.

Recently, a 17 year old boy from Huaishan City sold his kidney for 22,000 Yuan (about $3,400) and used the money to purchase an iPad.

These reports are disturbing to say the least.

you're right about the possibility of her being up to 21, i didn't take that into consideration. but in a situation like this, saying something like "an APPLE for a Cherry" is pretty tasteless.

@Tibian: What makes you think she is a minor? All the article "suggest" (no facts here), is that she may had been born in the 90s (for all we know she may very well be in her 20s). In my country after 16 yrs of age, consensual sexual relations is not illegal. To each her own; and if she of consensual age - more power to her if she wants to give it up for US$600. This is no different from that girl in FL that was selling her cherry to the highest bidder on eBay... Nonetheless, the materialistic behaviour of nowadays' youngsters amazes me...

very true not bad at all apple to a cherry. i love cherry but only if it is fresh like teens :-) but i think it still a bit over price iphone 4 is like my slary for a week just for 3 hours fun its a lot cheaper in amsterdam maybe an apple for 5 cherries hehe
