Steve Jobs' first authorized biography written by Walter Isaacson is getting a new title, according to Fortune.
The old one, iSteve: The Book of Jobs, was chosen by Simon & Schuster's publicity department. The author, Walter Isaacson, was never quite sure about it. His wife and daughter, however, were. They thought it was too cutesy. And now Isaacson has persuaded his publisher to go with something simpler and more elegant:
Steve Jobs By Walter Isaacson.
The biography is available to pre-orderpre-order from Amazon and iBooks. It's scheduled for release on March 6th, 2012.
Previous Description: "From bestselling author Walter Isaacson comes the landmark biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. In iSteve: The Book of Jobs, Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Jobs' professional and personal life. Drawn from three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews Isaacson has conducted with Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs' family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors, iSteve is the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation."

I liked the old title, seemed appropriate, I don't think it was too cutesy at all. I will most likely purchase the book though.
