AstroClip Will Mount Your iPhone 4 to a Telescope

The AstroClip is a simple attachment that mounts your iPhone 4 to any telescope with a 1.25" wide eye piece. Matthew Geyster, the product's designer, is currently seeking funding to produce the AstroClip on KickStarter.

All you need to take great astrophotography pictures is your iPhone 4, the AstroClip and a telescope. It's as easy as that. I designed the AstroClip to fit any telescope with a 1.25" eyepiece. This means it will work with all popular telescopes. All you have to do is tighten the AstroClip to your telescope, pop in your iPhone 4 and your ready to go.


The project has 39 days of funding left to reach its goal of $15,000. A pledge of $25 will get you one AstroClip.
