Following yesterday's report that the iPhone 5 will launch on Sprint, a new report from MacTrast claims that the new device will also launch on T-Mobile.
The informant, who requested to remain anonymous, went on to claim that the iPhone 5 would also operate at 3G speeds on T-Mobile US network. Current unlocked iPhone 4 units can only operate at at 2G "edge" speeds on T-Mobile's network, and lack certain network-dependent features, such as Visual Voicemail.
"We expect the addition of the iPhone, and the iPhone 5′s ability to run on our 3G network to make a significant financial difference for T-Mobile."
Recently, T-Mobile USA started selling Micro-SIM cards for the iPhone fueling speculation that something was in the works.

Now that Apple has realized the Android threat they have to do anything and everything to keep some of their customers! Don't take me wrong, I've been Apple fan boy since day one but reality is that they are losing this battle just because of all their stupid contracts n politics!
p.s. I would buy iPhone 5 if it's available on T-Mobile 3G.
Sent from my Android!

I don't know why people are complaining .
Who gets what?
People are broke right now with no jobs couldn't even afford a cup of coffee ...
You'll pay at least $130 a month
I'm paying $220 with 3 iPhone 4s...thats like a car payment..

Android a threat? Android will die once the iPhone hits the two other major cell companies. Android's dominance on carriers has only come because of the limitation of iPhone carriers. What's my proof you ask? Look at Verizon The carrier that was known for caring Droid first with all their fancy commercials. Within 3 months of the iPhone being carried on Verizon it captured 51% of it's carriers. AT&T currently holds 56% of it's Carriers on iPhone. Do you think that the trend wont follow once Sprint and T-mobile start carrying the iPhone? Before you know it Droid will be giving their phones away with two year agreement wait they are already doing that.

Now this is good news. I'm faithful to tmobile. I've never had issues with it, call it luck or whatever but I'm satisfied with it. While I respect the other networks I don't like AT&T constant drop calls or Verizon shitty customer service or prices.
