The giant pieces of glass which will be used to rebuild the flagship Fifth Ave. Apple Store Cube have arrived, reports TUAW.
One of our readers, Justin Parmer, was in the Big Apple and on hand as construction crews began unloading the huge glass panels. He took several photos of the process, and then shot some video as well (the video has been sped up by Parmer).
Apple began work on its its $7 million renovation in mid-June. The old glass cube has been dismantled and is being replaced with a new cube that used just 15 pieces of glass instead of 90.
