Apple has told Cupertino Mayor Gilbert Wong that plans are underway for a third corporate campus, reports MercuryNews.
Wong said Apple executives have told him the company is expanding so fast that it expects to start working on Apple Campus 3 at an unknown location after they finish the second headquarters in 2015. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment on plans for a third campus.
Apple is currently in the development stages of a huge 'spaceship' campus that will house 13,000 employees. Some city officials have suggested that a sculpture of Steve Jobs be placed on the campus to honor his contributions to the company, city, and society.
Interestingly, Wang says that from the plans it looks like all the offices in the main building will be the same size, even for executives.
