A Samsung shop-in-a-shop in Italy's Centro Sicilia has a wall of icons that features Apple App Store icons, reports AllThingsD.
Embarrassing, particularly given Apple's allegations that Samsung "slavishly" copied the design of its iPhone and iPad devices. It's hard to imagine there's a reasonable explanation for this. Samsung phones don't support iOS apps and I can't imagine Apple is making the company a version of Safari.

Now they have removed the icons with an " S".

I'm from north of Italy and i'm frequently in Sicily for business , i don't think this is an official Samsung corner ( especially the wall behind).
Samsung like to copy Apple but this seems really out of any immagination.
Probably the shops owner ( maybe an Apple fan...) make some modifications...
1st iPhone then iPad now Samsung have managed to copy the Apple Store experience and on top of that there using apple app icons on the wall LMFAO they should be sued
I think the issue is not that the term "App Store" should be generic or Apple was given the name "App Store", it's that Apples Icons have been blatantly used/copied by Samsung in a Advertisement Display, surely they could have created their own icons/images?
