I've got a 3Gs so I'll be upgrading, along with a lot of other people I don't see a problem with the new release.

So don't get one.
It will still become the best selling iPhone, ever. That's a conservative estimate.

you base your statements on assumptions that aren't collaborated by anything other than pure opinion... First of all you assume that most people in the market for the new iphone own the iphone 4. This is a terrible assumption to make and it is completely false. Many people don't own an iphone, or at least not the iphone 4, and are looking to switch to the new one. The other assumption you made is that people will wait for the iphone 5. Most people in the market for new phones are in the market because their old phones are broken/slow/crappy. In all cases they will not wait months, or even a year, to get the new iPhone. Of course if you have a fully functioning iPhone 4 and you just want to buy the iphone 5 based purely on shallow consumerism, that this won't be the case. But most people aren't like you (this is your third stupid assumption)...

I agree with this guy. They made so much money with this iPhone and yet they are not willing to invest in a new design. iOS 5 (which they use to praise the 4S) is also available for the current iPhone 4. It's just not worth it.....
big disappointment

I lucked out. In Hawaii on vacation so 9:01pm it is!
Not the greatest upgrade but I'll sell my unlocked ip4 for enough to cover majority costs
