Jay Freeman the creator of Cydia has released a new video recorder named Cycorder.
Currently the application doesn't not support audio; however this feature will be added in approximately one week's time.
Cycorder, unlike the iPhone Video Recorder, encodes in real time so there is no waiting once you stop recording. It utilitizes the maximum capabilities of the iPhone camera at 7-15 frames per second.

Can you tell me what you mean by "cuts my video off and on"? I sounds like a serious bug that I would like to remedy immediately.

Great application, potentially much better than the other one. Crisp image, fast operation and simple. I like it. Now, add sound and sharing functionality (mailing, you tube, me mobile, whatever, then this is the missing link on the iPhone - and please, you do not need to charge very much, this is a bestseller, you will be rich even just charging one buck. Apple app one day?
