Cox TV Connect for iPad lets subscribers watch more than 35 channels on your tablet but only in your house.

Cox TV Connect allows customers with Cox TV Essential and Cox Preferred, Premier or Ultimate Internet service to watch a selection of channels live on an iPad. Not all channels are available at this time.

Cox TV Connect allows you to watch popular shows LIVE, right on your iPad:
• Watch TV on your iPad from anywhere in your house.
• Choose from more than 35 popular channels.
• Yours to enjoy for free as a subscriber to Cox TV Essential and Cox Preferred, Premier or Ultimate Internet service.

"but only in your house" - how are they going to know which wifi network I am using?

I am not sure how they would figure that out, but being that the user would have to stay home to use the app makes it somewhat silly. I use the DISH Remote Access app from DISH and I can use it anywhere including outside of my house. Everywhere I have access to Wi-Fi and mobile 3G network I can access my whole channel lineup including my terabyte sized DVR. I am not sure how much longer it will take Cox to get all of their channels to show LIVE on their app, but since I started working for DISH over a year ago, DISH has been giving us LIVE TV everywhere.

And if they too decided to block JB iPads from accessing this APP, then try xCon. xCon in Cydia works on the DirecTV, TWC, and Cable Vision iPad APP to get around the JB and works for many other APPs with the same issues as well. http://www.ijailbreak.com/cydia/bypass-jailbreak-detection-errors-with-xcon-cydia-tweak/
