Samsung has run an advertisement in the Australian Sun-Herald this week, declaring the Galaxy Tab as 'the tablet Apple tried to stop', reports Engadget.
Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, Samsung Australia's vice president of telecommunications, Tyler McGee, credits Apple for making the Galaxy Tab a household name.
"At the end of the day the media awareness certainly made the Galaxy Tab 10.1 a household name compared to probably what it would've been based on the investment that we would've put into it from a marketing perspective," McGee explained.
McGee says Samsung will be bringing to market as many units as they can and believes the device will be in "short supply against the demand."
normaly if any one look the fast samsung is nothing special for making the phone on TV may be yes but look at that when the apple starting made the iphone and ipad samsung also the made it after a year a galaxy s 2 and galaxy tab that exactly same fuction the interface like a xerox copy only the size was not the same it means samsung is only copying the aple idea's with out the idea's of appple samsung is nothing.
