Verizon Sold 4.2 Million iPhones in Q4 2011

Verizon sold 4.2 million Apple iPhones in the fourth quarter of 2011, according to statements made by CFO Fran Shammo at the Citigroup Entertainment, Media and Telecommunications Conference.

According to StreetInsider, the company also sees a "500 to 600 basis point drop on the iPhone moving forward, though a specific time frame wasn't given."

In its last conference call, Verizon revealed that the company sold 2 million iPhones during Q3 2011.
