Siri Confirms She Will Soon Speak Japanese

Siri Confirms She Will Soon Speak Japanese

Posted February 15, 2012 at 12:24am by
If you ask Siri what languages she speaks, she'll tell you.

I can speak French, English, Japanese, and German... but I'm always learning.

You can change the language I'm using... just go to Siri settings.

Siri doesn't actually support Japanese yet; however, Apple has promised that additional language support is coming soon.

"In 2012, Siri will support additional languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Spanish."

Recently, a DoNews report predicted that Siri would begin supporting Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Russian languages next month. This slip by Siri indicates that the report may be accurate.
