Apple Tells Amazon China to Stop Selling the iPad

Apple has reportedly told Amazon China to stop selling the iPad, according to M.I.C. Gadget.

Have no doubt about this: Amazon China withdrew Apple's iPad and stop the sale of the tablet from 14th February night in the country. According to an Amazon China spokesman, the withdrawal is on the notice of Apple and also it's the adjustment on its sales strategy...


Another online retailer, Sunning, has also removed the iPad from sale.

It appears that this is happening due to Proview's attempt to enforce their trademark rights to the iPad mark in China.

Apple has appealed ownership of the mark with the Higher People's Court of Guangdong Province.
