Here's a look at the new lock screen Camera launch in iOS 5.1.

In iOS 5.0.1 you needed to double tap the home button to bring up the camera button which would launch the app. Now, as rumored, there is a Camera icon sitting at the bottom right of your lockscreen at all times. Swiping this icon up will reveal the Camera app.

I agree. I think a camera App that costs money is a waste of money. I have a free one the has an excellent built in timer so that I can be in group shots, and that's it. this quick access to camera app gives the iphone 3GS vulnerability.. when using the camera shortcut on the lock screen, then you press the home button, you'll directly get inside the homescreen even if you have a passcode installed. just some glitch i found...
