Check out this 'Notebook Case for iPad' found by Macotakara.jp that turns your iPad into a mini MacBook Pro.
9to5Mac reports that "the case packs a built-in Lithium-polymer battery that allows you to charge the iPad while in use. It also features a USB port, mini USB port, and Bluetooth for the keyboard. The case is available through Japanese retailer Rakuten for 5,980 yen (or roughly $75), so it could land in Rakuten's United States-based Buy.com in the near future."
You can also find the case on Amazon.co.jp but note that it only specifies support for the iPad 2, though the minimal size difference of the iPad 3 might mean it's compatible as well.
We also got the NoteBook Case reviewed on Tablet2Cases.com & it got a 3.7/5 rating. The review was based on a $55 price tag, which is low when comparing to other keyboards. That definitely helped the overall rating.
The case is available to order for $54.95 at

I agree with hindsight, who's business is it to tell anyone else how to use their device. I prefer not using a touch keypad, in favor of a physical one. Everyone has their own preferences and this looks like a badass solution/alternative to the standard Bluetooth or vertical standing iPad keyboards/docks. Good day all.
Too bad apple didn't put this out then you know quality would be there ! But who knows maybe it's built well ! It sure looks nice , wonder why it won't be shipped out "Thought"
I did own the aluminum ZAGGmate for my original iPad. I think the one for the iPad-2 is leather but this Japanese gizmo looks cool. From a distance, looks like a Mac. Something unique in my opinion.

What's up with the 90-port-dongle-cabling required to use it?
Useless to me, people who can afford an iPad and waste of money to buy this expensive case is pretty much guarantee to already own a laptop. Makes sense to anyone else?
